The Fray - Never Say Never (Official Music Video). Watch more top selected videos about: The Fray
This video was done by Sony Music Entertainment. It starts with a close up of the singer in the band and then it starts raining and we can see police lights. This creates a suspense with the audience as we don't know what's going on because we can't see the rest of the scene. The camera zooms out to show people in the background running around him panicking, however, the focus is still on the artist as he is the only calm one walking at a slow pace. The mise en scene is a chaotic neighbourhood with destroyed cars, police lights and a lot of smoke. The camera is moving backwards as the artist walks in front of the camera. A few pan shots are also used to give the full sense of the destruction of the street with bombs and explosions going off. The artist then sees someone and the camera pans 180 to show a woman in the distance. The video may represent the state of mind of the man without the woman, or it could also mean that even though there's a lot of chaos in their life, they can still be together without changing the way they feel about each other. The thing that I really like about this video is that is is done in one shot, which keeps the viewer focused and engaged to the narrative.
